Terms of Service – Pine Ridge Wood & Laser
By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
Custom Engraving Approval
All custom engraved products and services require customer approval of the design, layout, and spelling prior to engraving. Approval may be given electronically, verbally, or in writing and is considered binding.
Once approval is given:
• Production begins
• Orders cannot be canceled or refunded
• Changes requested after approval are not guaranteed and may result in additional charges
It is the customer’s responsibility to review all proofs carefully before approval.
Third-Party Products & Engraving-Only Items
Some products sold or engraved by Pine Ridge Wood & Laser are manufactured by third parties and are not produced by Pine Ridge Wood & Laser. In these cases, Pine Ridge Wood & Laser provides engraving services only.
For third-party or pre-manufactured products:
• Pine Ridge Wood & Laser is responsible only for the engraving performed
• We are not responsible for manufacturer defects, material performance, coating inconsistencies, or product durability unrelated to the engraving
• Any warranties or guarantees related to the base product remain the responsibility of the original manufacturer
Third-party products are visually inspected by Pine Ridge Wood & Laser for obvious, major defects prior to engraving. This inspection is limited in scope and does not constitute a warranty or guarantee against manufacturer defects or future product failure.
Liability is strictly limited to the accuracy and quality of the engraving as approved by the customer.
Customer-Provided Items
For services involving customer-provided items:
• Items must be clean and free of visible damage when provided
• Not all materials or coatings engrave the same; results may vary
• Pine Ridge Wood & Laser is not responsible for manufacturer defects, hidden material flaws, or pre-existing damage
• Customers acknowledge and accept the risks associated with engraving their own items
Material & Product Variations
Due to the handmade and material-specific nature of our products:
• Wood grain, knots, and color will vary
• Slate and stone may vary in texture, color, and edge shape
• PU leather and coated materials may engrave differently depending on color and finish
These variations are normal and are not considered defects.
Cancellations & Order Changes
• Orders may be canceled only before design approval
• No cancellations are accepted once production has begun
• Changes requested after approval may require additional fees
Limitation of Liability
Pine Ridge Wood & Laser shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services. Liability is strictly limited to the engraving services provided as approved by the customer.
